What is brow lamination? 

Brow lamination is a perm for eyebrows. The treatment gives a uniform shape by making all the hairs go in the same direction, giving a fuller, thicker look. If correct aftercare is followed, brow lamination lasts for up to 8 weeks. 

Do I need to be trained in brow lamination?

Yes, you should be a fully qualified professional to offer this service. Beautiful Brows & Lashes offer a Brow Lamination course that is ABT-accredited and teaches you everything you need to know. 

How to apply:

How you apply the Step 1 lifting cream is crucial for the end results of the brow lamination. Apply from the roots to ¾ up the hair, avoiding the tips as they are more porous so process quicker. Brush Step 1 upwards through the tips during the last 30 seconds – 1 minute of the timer to avoid over-processing.

Processing times:

• Very fine brows 3-4 minutes
• Fine or tinted brows 4-5 minutes
• Natural healthy brows 5-6 minutes
• Course healthy brows 6-7 minutes

• Once opened, sachets can be used within 7 days for treatments (just reseal with micropore tape) and 14 days for patch tests
• Store sachets at a cool temperature
• Treatment times vary depending on client’s brows
• A patch test must be carried out 24-48 hours prior to treatment
• Brows must be kept dry for 24 hours post treatment
• Avoid makeup, other eye treatments, touching, swimming and saunas for 24 hours post treatment
• Avoid self-tanning for 48 hours post treatment
• Brow conditioner should be used daily
• Cling film is not needed as BB kits have quick processing times
• Do not perform treatment on pregnant or breastfeeding women
